Huawei Mate 30 Pro April 2022 EMUI update is expanding [Global]
May is On! While Huawei April 2022 firmware update is expanding in the global market for Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone running on EMUI 12. However, the initial rollout of the corresponding update has started a few days ago.
According to the information, Huawei Mate 30 Pro April 2022 update is expanding with EMUI 12 version number 12.0.0.238 and weighs around 300 Megabytes. Besides, the system security improvements the changelog doesn’t have much to mention here.
As you know, the popularity of Mate 30 Pro is across the globe. Therefore, the update will take a bit longer to reach all devices. In the meantime, you can keep your eye on the update section to gran as soon as possible.
April 2022 EMUI security patch details:
With April 2022 security patch, Huawei fixes a bunch of exploits and issues including 19 high and 9 medium levels of CVE found in the EMUI software system. It protects the device against threats and boosted system privacy.

Before heading towards an update, make sure that your device must be charged 30% or above and have sufficient space to download the update. Don’t forget to make a backup copy of your personal data to prevent data loss. We suggest you use a WiFi connection instead of mobile data.
How to update:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, go to the Support tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
