Last Year, Huawei launched its Premium flagship product line Mate-Series and now its successor is preparing for the official launch which is possibly scheduled in October. The Mate 20 Pro has recently spotted on Chinese 3C Certification site and spilled some info to explore.

According to the certificate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be equipped with Kirin 980 SoC, which is rumored to be manufactured with 7 nanometers(nm) process. In addition, the leak also indicates that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will adopt a triple-camera module, similar to the Huawei P20 Pro.

The rear camera setup is combined with a 40MP main RGB sensor with 20MP black/white camera and an 8MP telephoto lens. The big change is there will be dual front camera setup which is speculated to feature 3D TOF security/facial recognization. There will also be a 40W fast charging and under-screen fingerprinting.

Recent sources reveal that the Mate 20 Pro will feature OLED screens made by Chinese display maker ‘BOE’ and it could be a curved screen panel similar to last year’s Mate RS Porsche Design.

Recently, Huawei trademarked the Mate 20 name patent in EUIPO, as well as Mate 30, Mate 40, etc., until Mate 90 and so on. These names also mean that in the future, the Mate series naming will appear as an integer such as 20, 30, and 40.

Note: There’s no confirmation available on the above-mentioned specs, and there’s no official statement came out yet from Huawei.
