Huawei Mate 20 Lite getting December 2020 security patch with new update
Huawei has begun releasing a new software update for Huawei Mate 20 Lite device. This update installs the security patch released in December 2020 that fixes 1 critical and 11 high levels of CVEs to protect your device against threats.
However, Huawei has kept this device in the quarterly EMUI security update section, which shows that the company will continuously upgrade the system security as well as add new features. Meanwhile, the device runs EMUI 10.0 (Android 10).
Huawei Mate 20 lite users can download and install this update for improved system security by following the update instruction mentioned at the end of the article.

- Huawei Mate 20 Lite users receiving EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.273 with an update size of 104MB.

UPDATE INSTRUCTION:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
