Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Pro users on EMUI 10.1 also getting this update in  Romania (Europe) as it will soon expand to more European countries.

EMUI 10.1 rollout for Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is still underway in may market. For the users who had completed the installation of this major update, Huawei now started to send a new software update to improve these device’s system security.

Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro receiving a new update, which brings security patches released in August 2020 for better system security. Some of the users are receiving July+August security patches together.

Security: Integrated Android security patches released in August 2020 for improved system security.

August 2020 Security Patch Details:

August 2020 security update install security patches fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.

Software version:

This new security patch for the Mate 20 and 20 Pro comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.298 and an update package size of 125MB.

• The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
• EMUI version and package size may vary depending on the country.
