Huawei Luxeed electric sedan spotted in live images ahead of launch
A few days ago, Huawei Smart Car Business Group CEO, Yu Chengdong announced the launch of a brand new pure electric car “LUXEED”, which now appeared in live images.
The front face of this car is closed, the headlights are wide and bright. It even has many similarities with the headlights of the AITO Wenjie models. There are 4 LED lamp beads used inside, and there are drooping LED daytime running lights under the headlights, which is a bit like a Porsche Taycan.
Since it’s an EV, the car doesn’t need an engine or a gearbox. Coming to the interior, the cabin is relatively small, which provides the space to store things accordingly.
On the top, you will find laser radar and rear-view cameras on the left and right sides. The car also uses Huawei’s ADS 2.0 smart driving technology, which is powered by HarmonyOS 4 operating system.
The two design exposed in the live images contains two different wheel rims. One has low resistance, which is good for cruising. Charging ports are placed on the left side.
Coming to the back, you will find a penetrating taillight, which is identical to AITO Wenjie M5. Below the taillight, you will see the “LUXEED” logo, the “Chery” branding in Chinese is mentioned on the bottom left and the model number is printed on the right.
Furthermore, the car is reported to feature air suspension, CDC electromagnetic vibration reduction, and more EV hardware.
Huawei and Chery:
After the announcement, Yu Chengdong didn’t reveal the manufacturer name, which was later speculated to be a Chinese car maker – Chery. However, more and more leaks appeared to clear the doubt.
Aside from the live images, the launch of this new Huawei Luxeed car will happen this quarter. However, an exact date is still awaited.
