Huawei launches Watch Ultimate Green Edition in China with dual-tone bezel

On October 22, 2024, Huawei unveiled the Watch Ultimate Green Edition in China. The all-new Green Edition wears a dual-tone skin around the dial. Its unique design resembles the golf court and has some fascinating features for consumers.

Design

Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition unveiled in China with the same zirconium-based liquid metal casing as its siblings. The smartwatch has a lustrous sapphire glass dial embedded in a dual-color nano-tech ceramic bezel.

Yes, the dual-color bezel is the highlight of this new watch. The upper side shows a rich green shade while the below one flaunts the white color with an aesthetic touch.

Changes are also visible in terms of straps. Users can switch between three straps: Classic titanium, high-elastic HNBR, and interwoven green+white textured strap.

The new Watch Ultimate Green Edition introduces 15000+ golf course maps with 3D views of green lands, fairways, trees, bunkers, and other details. It also supports distance measurement for amazing shot routes while playing golf.

With the Green Edition wearable, users can check the slope of the green land, the scorecard of the game, the halftime score report, and the ball trajectory. Under practice mode, the device can detect up and downs of each swing in real time.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition has the same internal parameters as its other siblings. The device has a dimension of 48.5 x 48.5 x 13mm and the wrist size ranges from 140-210mm. It weighs 76 grams and offers a lightweight feel on the wrist.

The smartwatch sports a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 466 x 466 pixels resolution and 311 PPI. It appears slim but is 4.5x stronger, 2.5x harder, and 15.2% lighter than any other wrist gadget, giving a feel of comfort every time.

Watch Ultimate Green Edition has three buttons: an assist tab, a rotating crown, and a feature button. The device equips several sensors like gyro, accelerometer, magnetometer, optical heart rate, barometer, temperature, depth, ambient light, and ECG.

Unlike the Watch GT 5 series, the model doesn’t support the new TruSense system. Although it has other interesting features like a new golf-course mode, driving range mode, expedition mode, and various workout functionalities.

The device installs a non-removable cell that provides a two-week battery life. It can run up to 8 days under typical usage and 14 days in normal use. When AOD is enabled, it will survive for 4 days. The good news is that it takes only 60 minutes for a complete charge.
