Huawei launches Watch GT 5 series and Watch Ultimate Green Edition in Malaysia

It’s September 26 and Huawei launches the all-new Watch GT 5 series as well as the Watch Ultimate Green Edition in Malaysia. The company is now expanding the reach of its newly launched smart wearables in several global markets.

The Watch GT 5 series made its debut on September 19 in Spain. After a few days, the company launched it in the home ground with new features, watch faces, and dynamic workout modes. Now this new experience is coming to Malaysian users.

Huawei has now kept the Watch GT 5 series (standard, Pro) and the Watch Ultimate Green Edition on the shelves of the Malaysia site. These devices are in the pre-order stage till October 4 and are available with a bunch of freebies and offers.

Standard Watch GT 5:

Huawei Watch GT 5 is available for pre-order starting at RM1099. Users can purchase the device at once or choose the installment method and pay RM99.92 for 12 months. Note that you need to pay an RM60 deposit to book the wearable.

Specifications: Watch GT 5 brings a classic sharp-edged design. The dial is more attractive than the previous model. It has a more recognizable crown and a feature button on the right side. The company has also introduced new color variants and 11 new watch faces with customization options.

• Watch GT 5 46mm: Brown, Blue, and Black
• Watch GT 5 41mm: Gold (metal strap), White, Brown, Blue, and Black.

The 46mm and 41mm models have a 1.43-inch and 1.32-inch AMOLED color screen respectively. Both have a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The former supports a 14-day battery life while the latter can run 7 days under typical usage.

TruSense system is the most significant addition to this watch. It ensures that the device offers faster and more precise health reports to users. The system holds advanced health sensors to monitor sleep, heart rate, and other body functions.

Some new features in the list include real-time route details, shaping routes, a Stay Fit app to estimate calories and manage health assessments, running analysis, Emotional Well-being, and more.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro pre-order begins at RM1399 or RM116.58 for 12 months. Users have to pay an RM60 deposit to book the device. They will get the rebate during the official sale. The freebie section counts FreeBuds 5i and APAC Region Warranty.

Specifications: Watch GT 5 Pro comes in two size variants: 46mm and 42mm. The first one has a more muscular and sporty design while the second one gives an elegant feel. Both adopt an AMOLED screen with the same sizes as the standard variants.

Huawei has introduced the Watch Ultimate Green Edition in Malaysia. It is priced at RM3799 and brings freebies worth RM1258. Users can also buy the wearable in installments for RM316.58 x 12 months. One can also get 5x member points.

In terms of freebies and offers, the Watch Ultimate Green Edition brings a free Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. Customers can also claim an RM 150 voucher till November 04. Specifications: The wearable shines in a dual-color bezel and two crowns on the right side. It is covered with a zirconium-based liquid metal casing. Meanwhile, the sapphire glass dial offers a clear view – thanks to anti-glare properties.

The Green Edition implies a full golf-related wearable. Yes, users can access golf course modes, offline contour maps, golf match-based themes and watch faces. Other main features include a driving range mode and an expedition mode.
