Huawei launches MatePad 11.5 2024 with 7700mAh battery and HarmonyOS 4.2

On October 30, Huawei launches the MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet, which has a minimal, elegant design and better visual capabilities. The device packs a huge battery, a dedicated education space, and many useful smart features with the HarmonyOS 4.2.

Design

Huawei has used integrated aluminum alloy to craft the MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet. It has a thin and lightweight design and comes in three shades: Island Blue, Frost Silver, and Space Gray. The rear look is similar to that of the previous-gen model.

Dimension and Display

MatePad 11.5 2024 measures 260.88 x 176.82 x 6.85mm with a weight of 499 grams. The device sports a TFT LCD (IPS) screen of 11.5-inch with 229 PPI, 2200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 16.7 million colors, and 100% sRGB color gamut.

The screen also supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and 86% screen-to-body ratio. Huawei has also adopted an anti-glare nano-etching PaperMatte technology that reduces 97% of light interference and lessens visual fatigue in the eyes.

Internal Configurations

Huawei launches MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet with 8GB RAM and two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. The device pre-installs the HarmonyOS 4.2 software system.

HarmonyOS 4.2 offers the SuperHub File Transfer tool, floating multiple windows, multi-screen collaboration, and an upgraded Notes app that has new features like exclusive emoji stickers, magic notes to record mood and create notes accordingly, lock feature, AI handwriting adjustment, and more.

The Education Center in the device remains synced with the school, textbooks, and learning exercises. It also supports AI learning and finds the weak points of a student, making the classes easier and more beneficial for the child.

The company hasn’t listed the chipset details on the official page. Although a tipster stated earlier that the tablet will feature the Kirin 8000 processor.

Camera

MatePad 11.5 2024 brings a single 13MP HD camera on the rear side. It is housed in a pill-shaped cutout. The front side includes an 8MP selfie lens at the center with a 105-degree ultra-wide-angle shooting and enables you to click wider shots.

Battery and Charging

The new tablet packs a 7700mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It allows users to quickly recharge the device and play local videos for 10 hours straight, making the tablet an energetic device at all times.

Users can opt for a third-generation M-Pencil or the Huawei Smart Keyboard to support the tablet and make office work and other operations easier.

Other features include 2.4GHz and 5GHz WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, MIMO 2 × 2, HE 160, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and Hall sensor. It has two mics, four speakers, and Huawei Histen 9.0 Audio support.
