Huawei launched 2nd-gen Qingyun C7 tablet with HarmonyOS 4 and NearLink support

Huawei has launched the Qingyun C7 second-generation tablet for its commercial users. The tablet packs several new features and high-end capabilities. It is the first commercial device to support NearLink Technology for a seamless connection.

Qingyun C7 2nd-generation tablet measures 261 x 177.3 x 6.2mm and weighs 510 grams. It sports an 11.5-inch IPS with FHD+ 2800 x 1840 pixels resolution and 291 PPI. The display supports 16.7 million colors, a P3 color gamut, and 10 touchpoints.

Other screen capabilities are 87% screen-to-body ratio, 3:2 golden screen ratio for productivity, 1500:1 high contrast, 500nit high brightness as well as HDR Vivid support. It also brings flicker-free eye protection technology to prevent eye strain.

Huawei has baked the Qingyun C7 tablet with HarmonyOS 4. The new OS will help enterprise and government users to perform their tasks more efficiently than ever.

HarmonyOS 4 offers smart features like app tracking management, a clear browsing experience, CC EAL5+ security level for storage as well as computing protection. Users can also use floating multi-windows, SuperHub, cross-device connections, and more.

Qingyun C7 2nd-gen is the first commercial tablet to use the NearLink Technology. The wireless connection is a standard solution for stable and anti-interference connectivity between devices. It forms a reliable network environment with rapid connection.

Further parameters count a NearLink Stylus as well as PC-level smart control capabilities. For instance – WPS Office, PC-level Edraw, and PC-level CAJViewer.

The tablet equips a 13MP camera (f/1.8 aperture) at the rear side and an 8MP (f/2.0 aperture) at the front. It runs on 8GB RAM combined with 256GB storage. It also has an 8800mAh battery that offers 12 hours of constant 1080p video playback on one charge.

For connectivity, the new Qingyun C7 supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2 x 2 MIMO, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency, Bluetooth 5.2, OTG, USB Type C (3.0), ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, hall sensor, and gyroscope. It has 2 mics, 4 speakers, and supports Histen 9.0

Huawei shipped the most commercial tablet in China!

Huawei has a separate tablet line for commercial purposes – Qingyun. As per the recent IDC report, Huawei Qingyun grabbed first place in the Chinese commercial tablets shipment ranking. The report highlights the overall progress of Qingyun in H1 2024.

Details reveal Huawei Qingyun commercial tablets shipment in the Chinese market increased by 8%. The Chinese tech maker sold around 168000 units in the first half of this year. This figure ultimately hiked the company’s market share by 8%YoY.

Thus, it seems the second-generation C7 tablet will expand this achievement further by highly indulging in government, finance, as well as large enterprise usage.
