Huawei Japan has announced to host the 2024 flagship launch event on October 2. The company will introduce some excellent devices and smart products for its consumers. But does this event also make way for the first-ever Mate XT tri-fold?

The tech giant shared a huge promo poster on its official Japan page. The description on the X account hints at new, upgraded, and “evolved” products. It reads:

“On October 2, 2024, HUAWEI JAPAN will announce new flagship products for the second half of the year. Look forward to the evolved new products! Let’s enjoy the excitement together!”

The caption doesn’t disclose any details regarding the upcoming devices. However, the teaser image highlights a familiar shape that is worth paying attention to.

Looking into the image, the company has used some octagonal shapes that resemble the Mate XT tri-fold’s camera bump. Thus, it implies that Huawei might unveil its iconic triple-foldable handset for Japanese consumers.

Note that the appearance of octagonal shapes doesn’t confirm the Mate XT launch in Japan. We still have to wait for an official announcement on this matter.
