Huawei is preparing for HarmonyOS 3.0 smartphone beta

Yes, the preparations have been started to bring HarmonyOS 3.0 into public smartphone beta testing mode. Because, Huawei has recently tested the HarmonyOS 3.0 beta registration page on the My Huawei app, similar to the one that we’ve seen during HarmonyOS 2.0 beta tests.

According to the information, the beta page has different sections including HarmonyOS 3.0 closed beta, public beta, and the stable version. Early adopters of this new HarmonyOS software will increase gradually, as Chinese tech maker switches gradually from the top end to mid and then the budget segment smartphone and other devices.

There are also other channels that have been added to the HarmonyOS 3.0 beta testing page including discussion, support, guidelines, notes, and more. However, since it’s a test, the HarmonOS 3.0 beta registration page is not active and shows an error once the user proceeds with the signup button.

Currently, Huawei has not announced the official launch date for the HarmonyOS 3.0 but it’s likely to drop in at the July 27th launch event.

HarmonyOS 3.0:

Last month, Huawei has recruited various Huawei devices for the HarmonyOS 3.0 developer public beta, which consists of P50, P50 Pro, P50 Pocket, Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro 4G, Mate 40 Pro+, Mate 40 RS Porsche Design and MatePad Pro 12.6-inch 2021 tablet. These devices are required with the least HarmonyOS 2.0 version to participate in the beta testing.

HarmonyOS 3.0 brings new improvements to the smart scenario features of this operating system and improves the super device feature by integrating more functionality for its use cases in the different scenarios as well as on different platforms.

Furthermore, Huawei has improved HarmonyOS 3.0 performance by installing the latest system optimizations and patches to the software and bringing them down to you.

On the flip side, the developers will get the new API to version 8, which enhances the JS/eTS language application development capabilities. Simultaneously, it brings capabilities of Ark UI and ArkCompiler for further improvements.

HarmonyOS 3.0 public beta will surely be an exciting piece of software to check on Huawei devices, as we’re ready to welcome this new operating system at the upcoming launch event.
