Huawei is planning to launch the world’s first 5G enabled TV
Huawei is already a giant in telecommunication field around the world, its global smartphone market share is increasing to take the top spot day by day and a new report reveals that the company is planning to expand its consumer electronics system even further.

According to Nikkei Asian Review, Huawei is planning to launch the world’s first 5G television as early as this year and also aims to put its name in the top five PC maker in the upcoming three years.
Huawei TV will be equipped with the 5G module as well as 8K resolution models, this technology directly enables users to use data-heavy content including 360-videos, VR programs and more.
The company has also said in its first-quarter results of 2019, that it will expand its consumer electronics division to its extent and Huawei’s first TV attempt can be said as a desire to complete its ecosystem.
The 8K image resolution represents new level picture details on the television that offers 16 times more pixels than a standard Full HD resolution.
By entering in the TV manufacturing, Huawei will have to compete against two giants in the television world including Samsung and LG, both of these are manufacturing Television for a long time.

Research company IHS Markit forecasts that shipments of 8K TVs will increase from less than 20,000 sets last year to 430,000 this year and to 2 million next year.
In addition to TVs, the company has also set a goal to enter in top five PC brands by 2021 and target to triple shipments in the PC segment for 2019.
