Huawei is planning big for MWC 2023: Report
Mobile World Congress or MWC is the show of the fittest and its 2023 edition will be special because Huawei is reportedly bidding big for this year’s MWC. It will kick off on Monday, 27 February 2023 – Thursday, 2 March 2023.
A Huawei spokesperson told that Huawei is planning a big presence at MWC Barcelona this year. The company plans to grab the entire Hall 1 of the Fira Gran Via Barcelona, which recalls the past memory.
“This will be Huawei’s largest year” at the event, said the spokesperson told Fiercewirelss.
However, the Huawei spokesperson has not revealed anything about the products that will release at MWC 2023 but we’ll keep you posted.
The latest input is coming after, Huawei published a positive note in 2022 and expects slight growth in revenue. Huawei also stated the company is slowly getting out of U.S. sanctions, which have haunted the Chinese tech maker for the last three years.
Amid the ban, Huawei has changed its strategy and focused on a more diverse supply chain rather being relying solely on U.S. components. Following the U.S. restrictions, Huawei was forced to participate in a low-key mode in major events.
The fact behind this low key lies in its product portfolio, which has been severely damaged by the lack of new hardware to produce new devices.
But the tides are turning up once again and Huawei is moving towards progress in various markets. This includes a rapid growth in its consumer business that is now also growing in tablets, PC, smartwatches, and more.
COVID:
COVID is again making appearance around the globe and MWC organizer, GSMA said it is preparing practices for the health and safety of partners and people. GSMA is also working government to form a community to ensure safety measures on different levels.
“Planning for MWC23 Barcelona remains dynamic given the ever-changing global circumstances. We are continuously responding to the latest information available from various officials and adapting plans accordingly,” said GSMA.
