Huawei is confident on ability to survive under pressure: Ren Zhengfei
In 2020, Huawei faced lots of difficulties and challenges in production and operations. One major reason behind this U.S sanction and another is the crown of the pandemic.
Back in 2019, the U.S government added the Huawei technology into the entity-list to bar its supplies and business with American-based firms and restrict US-made technologies. All this is done by the Trump government to destroy the Chinese tech giant.
According to Reuters, Huawei’s founder and CEO, Ren Zhengfei said that he has confidence in the company’s ability to survive and overcome difficulties amid the U.S. pressure on the business.
This is the first time Ren appeared in front of the media since last year February and delivered a speech at the launch of the 5G mining project in the northern Chinese city of Taiyuan.
He also said that Huawei achieved positive growth for both 2020 revenue and net profit and that it continued to see significant levels of confidence from its customers. Furthermore, he hopes for the best from the new U.S. president, Joe Biden, and his government.
