Huawei is a very strong competitor and we should learn from it: XPeng CEO

XPeng Motors CEO – He Xiaopeng recently said that Huawei is a strong competitor in the Chinese market and one can learn so much from it. The executive added that Chinese people should be proud of it for developing innovative products in every field.

He Xiaopeng uttered these words during an interview on the occasion of XPeng Motors’ 10th anniversary. In the interrogation, the CEO talked about various topics such as business strategies, large AI models, smart driving scenarios, and more.

Among several questions, the host asked about Huawei’s influence in the automobile industry. Even though the company didn’t jump into smart car making, it is playing a key role in this field by offering advanced solutions to its EV partners.

In response, The XPeng Motors CEO said that Huawei has emerged as a powerful competitor in the market and one can learn a lot from it. He further said that XPeng had a precious bond with Huawei years back and still believes in its capabilities.

“Huawei is a company that the Chinese people should be proud of. As a competitor, it is a very formidable rival and we should learn more from it. I dare say that Huawei is the best company in the B2B field. But, B2B has its difficulties.” – He Xiaopeng.

Xiaopeng mentioned that despite Huawei’s doing well by supplying major capabilities to its automobile partners. Although it’s a bit tough for XPeng to walk on the same path for now. The executive said that the company has started to export some solutions, but only to a few partners as B2B has several ongoing challenges.

The automobile maker firm also stated that the company exceeds in some of the key areas than Huawei. XPeng Motors will continue to focus on these key areas to achieve new heights.
