Huawei improves Nova 6 SE system stability via new software update
Last month, Huawei Nova 6 SE becomes the first device, which gets the December 2020 security update that improves the system security of the device.
Now, Huawei is sending a new software update for the Nova 6 SE smartphone users. This update mainly comes with optimizations for system stability, which enhances the overall device performance.
On the other hand, Huawei has concluded that EMUI 11 beta program for Nova 6 series by sending the stable EMUI 11 version. However, Nova 6 SE is also eligible for EMUI 11, but users are still in dilemma whether they get EMUI 11 or not. Regarding this matter, the company has not made any official announcement yet.

HOW TO UPDATE NOVA 6 SE:
To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.
Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
POINTS TO KNOW BEFORE UPDATE:
- Currently, this update is rolling out in China.
- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
