Huawei improves Mate 50 series performance with November 2022 update
Huawei is rolling out a new November 2022 update for Mate 50 series that improves the overall performance. There are also other system and feature-based optimizations made in the user experience area.
With the past version, Huawei users reported some bugs with system fluency and now these issues are resolved. After upgrading to the latest software version, Huawei Mate 50 Pro recorded improved performance statics.

The changelog shows that the update comes with HarmonyOS 3.0.0.168 firmware version for Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. For the time being, it’s noted only for the Chinese consumers of the Mate 50 series. However, it may also expand to global users.
Still, there are other improvements that are recorded under the rollout. These include new WiFi optimizations and better display effects while playing games.

You can download this software via Settings > System & updates > Software updates < Check for updates or My Huawei mobile application. This update will not delete your user data, but it is still recommended that you back up your data before updating.
