Huawei improves FreeClip connectivity with September 2024 update
Huawei is rolling out a new September 2024 update for the FreeClip earphones. The latest firmware packs new improvements for the device’s stability. It also enhances the Bluetooth function for a seamless connection all the time.
According to the changelog, Huawei FreeClip is receiving the September 2024 update with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.200 version. It also brings a software package of 3.42 MB.
The tech giant has released the latest improvements update for the FreeClip users in the global market. Being an initial rollout, it might be available to limited users for now. Although the company may initiate a broader release in the coming days.
In terms of changes, Huawei is improving the Bluetooth connections of the open-back earphones. Perhaps users will experience a more stable functioning of the device while connecting it to their smartphones.
Alongside connection improvements, users may observe enhanced performance and increased stability when using the device to hear their favorite songs or make voice calls. Other than this, the changelog doesn’t mention any major changes.
Users can try installing the latest FreeClip update manually. Just open the AI Life app. Connect the earbuds to the phone and place them inside the charging case.
Select the device and tap on the “Check for Updates” option. Click on the Download and Install option for the available version.
Huawei is hosting a new global launch event on September 19. The company will unveil various new products including wearables and the MatePad tablets.
The company is known for revealing new color variants of earbuds and wrist gadgets at grand events. Perhaps we may find new color schemes for the FreeClip. To know exact details, we have to wait till the official launch conference.
