Huawei Home Storage will bring 20TB storage support
Huawei is about to launch a new consumer-based home storage device that will drive up to 20TB support. This storage device is specially designed for smartphone and smart home consumer products.
A tipster from Weibo has revealed that the first batch of Huawei Home Storage devices may come in two versions – 2GB RAM and 2TB storage and 8GB RAM + 8TB storage. These two don’t have any hard disk versions.
However, the later versions of Huawei Home storage will support up to 20TB storages, which is absolutely monstrous and easy to hold a lot of files and photos.
It’s revealed that the device will support 3.5 inch HDD and it’s compatible with 2.5HDD and SSD.
It’s also revealed that the device will support smart features such as PC sync, live gallery, and smart search it’ll be fully compliant with the HarmonyOS operating system.
A leaked video has previously shown us how the home storage device uses a dual-bay design, which is easy to install and use. It also supports smartphone backup, and the storage space could also be divided into different modes.
A leaked live image of the retail box reveals that the Huawei Home Storage box comes with a small chassis and is made of metal, the front panel may be made of glass or plastic while coming with an NFC feature.
Huawei will launch this ultra extensive home storage box on September 6 alongside the Huawei Mate 50 series.
