Huawei HMS for Car quick applications will launch with Mercedes Benz 2021 S Class

On February 20, 2021, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, Yu Chengdong announced that new Mercedes Benz S Class cars will be equipped with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) for Car fast application service.

With this new addition, consumers can experience a range of third-party apps on the large screen of in-car systems and can also enjoy various entertainment features such as reading news, listening to stories, watching videos, and playing games.

The Huawei HMS for Car is an ultimate solution that is created by Huawei’s cloud services team for automobiles, which provides features such as the in-vehicle application market and Huawei’s smart assistant.

The latest quick application services with Mercedes Benz S Class will enable consumers to use any app on their in-vehicle systems without installing it, as simple as click and use.

The promo poster shows that icons of various apps such as SF Express, Lychee, Bilibili, and more appear on the display for direct access.

Yu Chengdong told that as a smart car cloud service solution, Huawei HS for Cars will continue to provide everyone with a high-quality travel experience with the help of a rich application ecosystem from Huawei Cloud.

According to the information, the 2021 brand new Mercedes Benz S Class comes models –  S400L, S450L, and S500L. The central control screen has a 12.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1888×1728. The vehicle also has voice assistant and OTA remote upgrade features.
