Huawei HiLink reaches 50 million users + 1 billion devices, HMS now covers over 580 million active users worldwide
On January 23, Huawei has organized a Huawei Annual Conference in China. During the event, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group put some light on the Huawei HiLink and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem and its reach among the consumers.
Richard said currently HiLink ecosystem has over 50 million users and more than 1 billion connected devices have been launched so far with this technology.
On the other hand, Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) has 580 million monthly active users across the globe. This data shows that Huawei’s smartphone and smart home ecosystem now becoming popular among peoples and achieved a set of the stable user base.
Huawei’s smart device ecosystem includes Smart Life products including Smart Screen TVs, Smart Cameras, Air Purifiers, and more. To be added, the current installation of the Smart Life App has reached 400 million and it’s being used at least 1.08 billion times a day.
This month, Huawei launched its new smart selection products – Huawei Smart Camera Pro, Electronics Toothbrush, and Op 2S Lamp in China.
Richard said Huawei will continue to apply Hongmeng OS to help to create a smart life products ecosystem in all scenarios. Additionally, Huawei will expand its previous 1+8+N strategy to provide a better-connected device experience for all consumers.
