Huawei hikes P60 price ahead of P70 launch in China
Huawei is about to launch the P70 flagship in China and meanwhile, the P60 smartphone price hikes in some third-party stores. The predecessor’s cost has increased after two weeks of unveiling the Pocket 2 foldable in the native region.
As per the third-party store details, the standard P60 model with 256GB storage version costs 5299 yuan ($736). Whereas, the 512GB variant is available for 5999 yuan ($833).
On the other hand, the original price of the Huawei P60 for 256GB and 512GB storage variants are 4988 yuan and 5988 yuan respectively. You can check the price rates for all Huawei P60 models and their storage versions in the image, below.
The reason behind the Huawei P60 series cost rise is currently unknown. Moreover, there aren’t any hikes in the price of the P60 lineup on the official Huawei China website. Thus, you can still run to VMall to buy the premium device at its original rate.
Huawei P60 Specifications
The camera beast smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 300 Hz touch sampling rate. Other visual capabilities include 1.07 billion colors and a P3-wide color gamut.
Huawei P60 has high-quality visuals with an FHD+ (2700 × 1220 pixels) resolution. The device runs on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip paired with Adreno GPU and Qualcomm’s 7th-gen AI engine. It packs a 4815mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
In terms of optical framework, the handset features a triple camera setup at the rear side in a Koala face layout. This structure includes a 48MP main shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 12MP periscope telephoto lens. Ahead, the front side holds a 13MP selfie snapper for impressive portraits.
