Huawei HiCar vehicles exceeds 10 million counts and more to launch
Huawei recently announced that the number of HiCar vehicles has reached over 10 million including 34 car makers and 112 models/products.
To further exceed the limit of 10 million, Huawei HiCar will join hands with many car companies to support more models, support the non-inductive connection between smartphones and cars, minimal interaction, hardware mutual assistance, ecosystem sharing, and more, to provide car owners with convenient and fast one-stop travel services.
Huawei HiCar:
HiCar is Huawei’s self-developed smartphone and car feature, similar to Apple’s CarPlay features. Previously, it has supported BYD’s DiLink in-vehicle system.
Huawei HiCar Smart Connection solution. It has the following features:
- Safe connection: Minimal interaction with safety as the premise (Safety)
- Sensorless inter-connectivity: Smart Connection of Mobile Phones/IoT Devices and Cars
- Hardware mutual assistance: Mobile phone and car resource sharing (Resource Sharing)
- Ecosystem sharing: User experience flows seamlessly inside and outside the car (Seamless Experience)
Huawei:
From the perspective of the car, the car cockpit has the display capability of the car central control large screen, the instrument/HUD multi-screen, the microphone/speaker and other better audio input and output capabilities in the car environment, and the convenient reverse control such as square control buttons and knobs.
Input capabilities, as well as high-precision vehicle data, etc. However, the iterative cycle of upgrading the hardware computing capabilities of the central control host in the car cockpit is relatively long, and the applications and services of the car are not rich enough.
In terms of smartphones have newer computing hardware platform capabilities (chip-level HiAI capabilities), newer software platforms, newer high-speed mobile data network connection capabilities, and various applications and services that users are used to.
HiCar connects mobile devices and cars and uses the strong attributes of cars and mobile devices as well as multi-device interconnection capabilities to create a smart travel experience for consumers.
