Huawei has the largest share in the Chinese premium smart TV market: Chairman

On September 24, Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman – Yu Chengdong announced that the company has the largest share in the Chinese premium smart TV market. Alongside phones, tablets, and PCs, the company is pacing in smart screens race.

Yu Chengdong says that Huawei Smart TV owns around 42.3% of the sales share in the Chinese premium smart TV market. The premium segment ranges from 20000 to 30000 yuan.

The executive further states that Huawei has nearly 42.3% smart TV shipment share in the 20000+ price segment. Meanwhile, the company captures 48.2% of smart TV sales share in the 30000+ price segment. This makes the overall net recommendation value 76% of Huawei smart TV products in China.

Looking into the figures, it seems that Huawei smart TV products are deeply loved and supported by high-end consumers in China. The company also keeps upgrading its smart TVs with advanced chips, new features, as well as smart software capabilities.
