Huawei has published a new patent for folding screen devices

Huawei is all set to launch the first flip folding phone – Huawei P50 Pocket on December 23 in China. According to the latest information, Huawei has just published a patent related to folding screens entitled “A control method and electronic device with a folding screen”.

Huawei folding screen patent description shows that the new technology includes the device achieving the user’s folding operation of the folding screen, and real-time obtaining the basic parameters of the folding screen, including:

• The angle between the first screen and the second screen
• Folding speed
• Folding direction
• Folding acceleration, and more.

The device performs related functions in accordance with the original parameters obtained in real-time. When the parameters differ, the degree to which the corresponding function is also executed differently.

Huawei P50 Pocket: A Flip style foldable phone

Huawei P50 Pocket flip-style phone is a whole new smartphone the foldable segment of the company. It will launch with the dual ring camera design as of the flagship Huawei P50 series.

This smartphone concept looks somewhat identical Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 but it has a new hinge and low crease that makes it a powerful competitor of the Galaxy Z Flip 3. It will be pocket-friendly and turn large screen phones into pocket-size by folding technology. However, the specification is still unknown at the moment.
