Next month, Huawei will officially return to the 5G smartphone business and an insider revealed that the company has a large stock of new 5G Kirin chipsets for all of its upcoming devices.

Tipster, DigitalChatStation is saying that Huawei has a large volume of Kirin 5G chipsets. Therefore, customers won’t have to pay more than usual to buy a 5G Huawei Mate 60 series model.

It is also said that the company will release these 5G chipsets in September along with a large capacity of production. Moreover, the tipster predicts that the pre-sale version of the Huawei Mate 60 series has already gathered enough sales than the lifetime sales of many other flagship devices with the same price tag.

To conclude, the tipster mentioned that the company has ordered a massive sum of chips for manufacturing. These chips may not be completely used in the Mate 60 series and will also be used in other products.

Kirin 9000s:

On August 29, Huawei unveiled the new Mate 60 Pro online. The tech maker didn’t organize a launch event, nor shared the teasers. A day later, the company also listed the standard Mate 60. Both of these phones are using Kirin 9000s chipset.

The use of Kirin has sparked massive searches across the internet, yet, Huawei wants to keep the chip private. Therefore, there’s no mention of the processor in the Mate 60 series listing on the official website.

Meanwhile, a Geekbench test of the Kirin 9000s shows that it could surpass the Kirin 9000 5G. It was built with 5nm TSMC processing technology. However, the new chip expressed itself better on benchmark than its predecessor.

Still, Huawei has not shared details for releasing a 5G version of the Huawei Mate 60 series. Yet, many of the people are now confident that the company will return 5G next month and it’ll be first introduced with a Mate 60 device.
