Huawei has achieved 120W and 200W superfast smartphone charging

At the launch conference of the Huawei Mate 40 series in China, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Richard Yu, unveiled these smartphones for the Chinese consumers.

Richard said, Huawei has achieved 120W or even 200W super-fast charging technology but considering that the battery capacity may shrink and the thickness of the smartphone body will not increase temporarily, the current option of 66W fast charging is the most suitable for smartphones including Huawei Mate 40 series.

Huawei Mate 40 series supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, upgrading from 40W wired, and 27W wireless charging. Furthermore, Richard mentioned that the charger will be included in the retail box, so customers won’t have to purchase the accessories separately.
