Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT Public beta development completed: Rumor
HarmonyOS NEXT closed beta is yet to come and it looks like the new software’s public beta has already completed development. The company is gearing up the progress of its independent operating system for its flagship and mid-range devices.
A new rumor shared by tipster @FixedFocus says the HarmonyOS NEXT public beta development has completed and entered the stability testing for eligible devices.
If true, the company might not take much time in the distribution of the HarmonyOS NEXT upgrade for its devices. After the beta release, we can expect a rapid rollout of closed and public software testing builds for Huawei device users.
Note that the ‘stability testing’ refers to the software’s compatibility test with devices. The tech giant inspects if its phones, tablets, and other devices work efficiently with the new OS version or face any issues while performing operations.
Based on the results, the company thereafter releases new software for its various devices. Thus you receive a more productive and seamless software upgrade for your handset.
Public Beta Devices
The leak further reveals the first batch of HarmonyOS NEXT public beta devices, which includes the Pura 70 and Mate 60 series. Being the top flagships, it’s obvious to see these models as the first receiver of the upcoming software upgrade.
By the end of this week, HarmonyOS NEXT first beta version will be on the official stage. Huawei will also unveil new features and capabilities of its software upgrade at the HDC 2024 event and might share the upgrade rollout plan.
The same tipster revealed that HarmonyOS NEXT’s DP2 is already out and brings fewer ads with better animation effects over Android. AI features and improved interconnectivity are also on the list to offer an optimized experience to device users.
