Huawei HarmonyOS Connect products sale records 100 million yuan

President of Huawei Consumer Business Group – Wang Chenglu announced that HarmonyOS Connect products recorded 100 million yuan on shipped devices, in less than a year. This is a big achievement for the company and a point of focus for the HarmonyOS operating system.

Huawei’s goal behind the launch of HarmonyOS Connect Zone is to promote the sale of HarmonyOS products via online and offline channels.

Huawei HarmonyOS Connect Zone:

In June 2021, Huawei launched the HarmonyOS Connect Zone to help the industry partners in operating and selling new products. The Chinese tech maker added the HarmonyOS powered device on this separate page.

The list of products includes air conditioners, soymilk machines, electric steamers, water purifiers, water heaters, cooking machines, cooking stoves, cameras, and many others equipped with a HarmonyOS system.

Furthermore, at HarmonyOS Connect Partner Summit on October 22, Huawei announced that currently, over 1,800 hardware ecosystem partners have joined this Huawei platform. The product categories have reached 4,000 totals in terms of the official certificates. On top of this, HarmonyOS Connect has more than 60 million new devices in 2021.

HarmonyOS Ecosystem:

HarmonyOS System means an intelligent operating system designed for the era of the Internet of Everything. It consists of three major genes including different tools in the same language, Hardware mutual assistance to build a super device, Services flow free of charge across all devices with a single device dependency.

Yang Haisong, Vice President of Huawei’s consumer business AI and smart full-scenario business division, said that Huawei officially began working with partners to develop the HarmonyOS ecosystem in April last year.

HarmonyOS 300 million:

On December 23, HarmonyOS has crossed 200 million devices in the ecosystem. In addition to this, the Chinese tech maker has also achieved another milestone by gathering 100 million third-party consumer products from industry partners, making HarmonyOS reach 300 million.
