Huawei HarmonyOS 2.1 is specially optimized for Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset

On July 29, 2021, the Huawei P50 series with two models – P50 and P50 Pro made its debut. These brand-new smartphones come with a high-end camera along with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and the new HarmonyOS software capabilities.

Huawei P50 Pro is already on sale since August 12 in China. Despite its global absence, the standard version of the P50 will launch in September with a new HarmonyOS version and Snapdragon 888 chipset.

According to the information, Huawei P50 will bring HarmonyOS 2.1 operating system. and this new OS is specially optimized for the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip-powered P50. Now, we know that the upcoming HarmonyOS 2.1 will come with new features. Yet, they currently, remain unknown.

HarmonyOS 2.1, the Huawei devices will get added functions to the task sharing and seamless connections between the devices. This feature can be used between HarmonyOS devices using the same Huawei ID and within the communications distance.

In the multitasking interface of device A, you can check the background multitasking of device B at the same time. Interestingly, the software or application running on device B can also be relayed on device A using a multitasking interface.

For example, if you are playing a game on a mobile phone and relay it with the MatePad tablet, you can easily switch to the tablet and continue to the game seamlessly, without even downloading the game files.

HarmonyOS instant update:

It’s also expected that HarmonyOS software will soon get a new distributed function called Shuttle. This interesting feature lets you install the software updates on all the HM OS running devices using a single device.
