Huawei gains first spot in 2023 China automobile invention patents ranking

Huawei is constantly pacing ahead in the patent world and secured first position in the 2023 China automobile invention patents ranking for the top 50 participants. The company has issued around 4233 patents with a growth rate of 135.69% YoY.

According to the details, China Automotive Information Technology has published the statistical analysis of China’s Automobile Patent Data in 2023 report. Several tech vendors joined this listing to add some more achievements to their gallery.

Among them, Huawei gained the first spot in the 2023 China automobile invention patents ranking. The ranking falls in the category of automobile patent disclosure volume by innovation for the top 50 tech giants in China.

Eventually, the China FAW Motor ranks second in this listing. Whereas, Changan Automobile, CATL New Energy, and Tencent are in the third, fourth, and fifth positions, respectively. In addition, the research firm shared data related to patent authorizations, utility models, designs, and more.
