Huawei FreeLace Pro with dual-active noise cancellation and 24 hours of battery life launched

Today, Huawei unveiled its latest neck around wireless headphones, Huawei FreeLace Pro. These new headphones now offer new noise reduction technology and an extended 24 hours of long battery life.

The dual-active noise reduction feature for Huawei FreeLace Pro takes help from the headphones two inbuilt microphones on each headphone for maximum background noise reduction.

On the other hand, the headphones also have to call noise reduction capabilities, powered by the adaptive fusion pickup system, which uses all three microphones in the device for pure human voice transmission.

Huawei FreeLace Pro is also the first headset product to obtain Bluetooth Headphone Noise Reduction capability Certificate issued by China’s Electronic Audio Industry Association.

The headphones also have transparent aka background mode, which allows users to hear voices without even taking them off from the ears. Huawei FreeLace Pro comes with a light body of 34g, which makes it easy for long use.

Separating the right earbud and its cable from the volume buttons reveals a USB Type-C connector, which can be inserted into the USB Type-C port of any Huawei smartphone running EMUI 9.1 or above for quick and easy Bluetooth pairing via Huawei HiPair.

Huawei FreeLace Pro can also be plugged to the USB Type-C port of any smartphone, tablet, or PC for quick charging. with a 5 minute charge, it provides up to 5 hours of playback time, while a full charge boasts up to 24 hours of playback.

From the design perspective, Huawei FreeLace Pro comes with a new headphone dome and wire control box shell, which is made of aluminum alloy.

Each side of the earphones has a large dynamic driver unit with a diameter of 14mm. The microphone module consists of a dual-cavity design, featuring an additional channel for air ventilation and reduces the effect of wind on voice pick-up.

Other important features of Huawei FreeLace Pro including Magnetic Switch to improve the portability of the earphones. These earphones also have a built-in Hall sensor that makes control more intuitive: Connect both sides and the earphones go into sleep mode, and they will automatically resume once separated.

The in-line controls support not only volume adjustments, but also additional inputs such as a two-second long-press that activates the voice assistant, and a double-tap that skips the current music.

Huawei FreeLace Pro comes in three color options including Black, White, and Green.
