Huawei FreeClip gets July 2024 update with new improvements

Huawei FreeClip users have started receiving the July 2024 update. It installs the latest stability and connectivity improvements on the new earphones. The firmware is rolling out in the global market and will gradually cover all the eligible units.

According to the changelog, Huawei FreeClip is getting the July 2024 update with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.188 version. Users can explore the newest enhancements by downloading a software package of 3.53 Megabytes on their earbuds.

The changelog only counts optimizations for Bluetooth. It improves the connectivity aspects and makes the device more stable. As a result, users won’t face difficulties while linking their open-back earphones to handsets, tablets, or any other device.

Other than that, the update doesn’t bring any major changes. Though you may find bug fixes and performance optimizations after installing the newest firmware.

Note that your earbuds should have at least 20% to conduct a smooth and interruption-free upgrade. Do not remove these buds from the charging case and keep them in an adequate Bluetooth range during the firmware installation process.

FreeBuds Pro 4 is coming?

Huawei is preparing FreeBuds Pro 4 with some ultimate upgrades and changes over its predecessors. One of the major addition to this device could be the “Celia Voice wake-up” feature. Users would be able to perform certain tasks with their voice commands.
