Huawei FreeBuds SE 3 earphones coming soon

A Weibo tipster says that Huawei could soon launch the FreeBuds SE 3 in the consumer market. Apart from the flagship-level earphones (FreeBuds Pro 4), we may also find cost-effective third-generation SE earbuds by the end of this month.

FixedFocus recently shared inputs regarding Huawei FreeBuds SE 3. The tipster said that the company could initially launch the SE earbuds, thereby releasing the FreeBuds Pro 4. In that case, we can expect the new earphones by the next week.

The leak further reveals that FreeBuds SE 3 has a new golden color this time. Consumers will also find a black shade with a matte finish on the sale shelves.

Some other netizens added that there could be more color variants for the FreeBuds SE 3 in the future. For reference, the previous-gen models have four bashing shades: Ceramic White, Taro Purple, Island Blue, as well as Obsidian Black.

The tipster eventually hints that the new Huawei earbuds will bring improved noise reduction over their predecessors. One may also witness smarter AI capabilities and gestures with the approaching audio wearables.

Other parameters of the new earphones are currently unknown. Although we may soon grab an official teaser and key specs of the device in the upcoming days.

The FreeBuds SE 2 has a dimension of 33.66 x 17.83 x 18.13mm whereas, the charging case measures 50.40 x 50.31 x 23.40mm and weighs 33 grams. It supports a double-tap gesture to perform several operations like answer/end calls, song-switching, pause/play, and wake-up voice assistant capability.

In terms of battery, the charging case has a 510mAh battery, and the earbuds hold a 41mAh cell (one for each). It gets charged within 60 minutes and offers 40 hours of ultra-long battery life. One can tune on to their favorite songs for three hours in just 10 minutes of charging.
