Huawei flagships lead Chinese market in May 2023 with Mate 50 series

Huawei flagships lead the company to the top of May 2023 ranking in the Chinese smartphone market featuring the Huawei Mate 50 series as the largest inventory.

Research coming from China shows that Huawei’s flagship phones Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro ranked as the top two models. These account for 23.6% and 23% of users respectively. Meanwhile, the P60 and P60 Pro also had a lower stock.

Huawei’s Chinese counterparts – Vivo X90 and Xiaomi 13 accounted for a relatively high proportion, accounting for 17.5% and 12.3% respectively. In the top growing smartphones list of May 2023, Huawei P60, Vivo X90 and Mate 50 are jumping spots.

The researcher said Huawei P60 brings interesting appearance and specifications upgrades as the main selling point. This includes new technology, photography, drop resistance, and efficiency.

The Rococo white color is the most eye-catching rear texture in any phone. Other variants of the Huawei P60 series offer anti-fingerprint feather sand technology, which sublimates aesthetics.

To be mentioned, Huawei P60 Pro devices come with a quad-curve screen with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh.

Looking at the rear camera, the Huawei P60 Pro sports a powerful main camera with variable aperture (F1.4/F4.0 physical aperture). Also, the P60 Pro has the most powerful zoom camera.

The researcher concludes on the point that most of the Huawei P60 Pro buyers are coming from exchanges and upgrades.
