On September 23, at Huawei Connect 2020, Huawei presented new strategies to work with the industry and put some light on the current difficulties that occurred due to the U.S. ban.

Huawei Rotating Chairman Guo Ping said that Huawei is now encountering great difficulties due to the continued suppression by the U.S. on Huawei operations. Ping said survival is the main focus of the company.

Last year, the U.S. added Huawei into the Entity-list that restricted the company from doing business with U.S. tech firms. This year, the U.S. further strengthen this restriction with a new chip ban that affected Huawei’s business with overseas companies especially the chip makers.

Amid this challenge, Ping remained positive and looking forward to working more with the industry by bringing new technologies.

“Creating New Value with Synergy Across Five Tech Domains. As more and more governments and enterprises go digital and embrace intelligence, the ICT sector will see incredible potential for growth. We look forward to opening this new chapter together with our partners.” said Ping.
