Huawei enters in-depth cooperation with two major automobile companies: Huawei
On August 23, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economy Industry Forum and the 2021 China International Intelligent Industry Expo were officially opened. In which, the managing director of Huawei and the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, Yu Chengdong delivered a speech on the main forum.
Yu announced that Huawei has conducted in-depth cooperation and exploration with the two major automobile companies – Chongquing Changan and Xiaokang. This cooperation will be focused on automobile intelligence, networking, and internet formalization.
The main theme of this speech was based on an Open, open-source, co-construction, inclusive and credible smart industry ecosystem. He also mentioned, Huawei’s self-developed HarmonyOS, stating that this software is not just for smart devices but can also be used for the Internet of Everything. It’s a new-gen operating system of all things smart connect.
Furthermore, he stated that we created new possibilities for the Internet of Everything innovation, one-time development, multi-device deployment while providing programming languages, and development tools to bring a highly secure, reliable, and flexible operating system.
The HarmonyOS will go through several improvements and will be leading the operating system in the coming era. The executive also mentioned that Huawei has very strong cooperation with several companies.
Changan automobile industry has been continuously growing, and Huawei has in-depth cooperation with the two major automobile companies in Chongquing.
It was also known that Huawei and Changan Automobile have advanced platforms for high-end autonomous driving capabilities and Xiaokang group is also making its cooperation to build new gen of pure electric intelligent platforms.
Moreover, Huawei has multiple-level solutions in auto-oriented automation, intelligence, networking, and sharing. In addition to the new architecture for the next-generation automotive industry.
Huawei Consumer Business CEO also revealed that the company will work with global corporate partners to build a new generation of intelligent connected electric vehicles that will be environmentally friendly, smarter, and convenient to use.
Huawei Mate 50 with super curved display appeared in concept renders
Huawei’s innovations continue as the company’s latest patent showcases the Mate 50 smartphone with a super curved display. Based on the patent information, concept creator LetsGoDigital has come up with renders and a video to explain this new technology of Huaewi.
The patent was initially applied with USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) in March 2019, which was published on July 15, along with the design.
