Huawei EMUI July 2023 Updates List

It’s July 2023 and Huawei is rolling out new software updates for EMUI phones. These updates are part of the monthly and quarterly release schedule and may differ based on the region and country.

Currently, Huawei is expanding the reach of the June 2023 security patch for some of its devices. Earlier this month, Huawei also patched July 2023 security in some flagship models.

Huawei is also sending new system improvements to provide better performance. Some users may receive it with monthly security or a separate EMUI build version.

Meanwhile, Huawei is busy with EMUI 13 test for models including Huawei P50 Pro, P50 Pocket, and Mate 40 Pro. As of the end of July, Huawei has opened EMUI 13 beta program in Asia, Europe, Africa, Middle East regions. Allowing users to test new features ahead of the official rollout.

Huawei EMUI July 2023 Updates:

July 31, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 SE is receiving EMUI version 12.0.1.189 and it comes with July 2023 security update.
• Huawei Mate 40 Pro is getting July 2023 update and comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.340. Meanwhile, the company is testing EMUI 13 under beta activity.

July 14, 2023:

• Huawei P60 Pro is receiving a new software update with EMUI version 13.1.0.162. The package size is 1.03GB to download via the OTA update method. This update installs June 2023 security patch and new system improvements for better performance.

July 15, 2023:

• Huawei P40 Pro is the first smartphone to grab July 2023 security patch with EMUI version 12.0.0.342. Users rejoice with this new software release but also waiting for EMUI 13 confirmation.
• It’s a surprise for Huawei P30 Pro users because it is receiving a new software update for this excellent P-series device. The latest firmware is a performance improvements patch with EMUI 12.0.0.169 version (Read more).

July 16, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 50 Pro has the second spot in the update installation tally and this EMUI 13 device can download EMUI 13.0.0.232 with July 2023 security patch onboard.

July 17, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 20 Pro is also receiving an EMUI software update package with firmware version 12.0.0.145 and new user experience improvements.

July 21, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 is receiving July 2023 security update with EMUI version 12.0.1.295 and a package size of 351 megabytes.

July 22, 2023:

• Huawei Nova Y70 is getting EMUI 12.0.0.240 software version with July 2023 security patches.
• Huawei P60 Pro is also receiving June 2023 security patch over EMUI 13.1.0.168 software update as an expansion for global users.
