Huawei EMUI January 2024 Updates List
January 21, 2024, it’s the first month of the year and Huawei is trailing new EMUI firmware with rollout of important security patches. Gradually, most of these things are becoming irrelevant to the Chinese tech giant in terms of serving the global smartphone world.
Over the past year, Huawei has further distanced itself from global smartphone users and there is no major announcement made. Although the company is moving fast in terms of mobile services but it failed to give new customers a reason to choose its smartphones.
At a time when mobile manufacturers are giving away robust software support and promising ultra-long version upgrades. However, Huawei is lacking in these areas without publishing further news about its next generation of software releases.
Speaking of which, EMUI 14 should have been the next software upgrade but users have reported not seeing this upgrade in their devices.
Usually, Huawei releases a new version upgrade in the fourth quarter but the company is still mum about the development of the next EMUI phase. Meanwhile, in China, Huawei phone users are getting fast HarmonyOS support, which is a matter of concern for many of the global Huawei consumers.
As for now, Huawei is sending new security patches for a handful of devices, while some of the old models have been removed from the monthly upgrade cycle. While some have been transitioned to the quarterly timespan.
