Huawei EMUI August 2023 Updates List

Huawei is rolling out software updates with August 2023 security patches for EMUI devices. However, more users are waiting for new firmware updates with the latest features and performance improvements.

Meanwhile, Huawei is trying to keep up with the schedule and release updates on time. Also, a major software update has also become an attraction for users. It happened because the stable EMUI 13 rollout is now up and running. Although the rollout is limited to some Huawei smartphones, it may soon expand to more models.

August 31, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 50 Pro is receiving the August 2023 software update with EMUI version 13.0.0.240 and a package size of 325MB. The company is pushing this update in batches for the flagship.
• Huawei P60 Pro is getting an August 2023 security patch with EMUI build version 13.1.0.168, which installs new security improvements for the smartphone.

August 26, 2023:

• Huawei Watch 4 series is receiving the August 2023 software update with freediving mode, track running mode, better geolocation, support for voice notifications, improved display, and battery improvements.

August 22, 2023:

• Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch users noted a new firmware version, which comes with a new sleep mode, and the ability to open the app from the shortcut menu. It added a feature to detect strap is too loose during exercise. Also added incoming call notifications for some social media apps, and added new support for identifying messages from some social media apps via emojis. August 19, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 is also in line to install the August 2023 update. For that, the company is sending EMUI version 12.0.1.301 for users with 383MB of downloadable size.

August 17, 2023:

• Huawei Nova Y90 is receiving EMUI 12.0.1.192 version with August 2023 security patches. This update is rolling out in batches and may take some to reach all of the users.

August 15, 2023:

• Huawei P40 Pro is receiving August 2023 EMUI security patches with the latest firmware version 12.0.0.345 upgrading from EMUI 12.0.0.342. The latest software update is part of the monthly support, that the phone is getting. However, it was not mentioned in the EMUI 13 upgrade plan.
• Some Huawei Mate 30 Pro users are getting July 2023 security patches, while some others are running over the August 2023 security patch. The latest software update is still expanding.

August 14, 2023:

• Huawei is sending the first August 2023 security patch for Huawei Mate 40 Pro users. The update is released for the phone with EMUI 12 version. On the other hand, EMUI 13 beta testers are still waiting for a stable rollout. August 2023 update for Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.347 and a package size of 294 megabytes.
