Huawei EMUI April 2023 Updates List

Huawei is rolling out April 2023 updates for global EMUI smartphones and there are a lot of software versions released all around this month. However, April is also seen as a major shift for the EMUI universe but some action was still missing.

Several phones including Huawei Mate 50 Pro, Nova 10 series, P40 series, and more already installed April 2023 EMUI security patches. However, these users are waiting for a major upgrade. Still, we spent an entire month talking about the major software rollout, and here’s what we’ve found.

EMUI 13:

Last month, Huawei began EMUI 13 beta recruitment in South East Asia. This event filled users with excitement but it remained limited to the market up until the end of April. Looking at the progress, Huawei has also released the first EMUI 13 test build for Huawei P50 Pro, P50 Pocket, and Mate Xs 2. Furthermore, Nova 10 series has also joined the beta activity.

All of this action is happening for limited users. Meanwhile, users in Europe have also shown their eager interest to participate in EMUI 13 test campaign. Which, we undoubtedly agreed.

However, the month spent and there is no new information about the expansion of EMUI 13 in other parts of the world. But the launch of the Huawei P60 series is coming on May 11th. This might be a moment to see an expansion roadmap and we’ll wait for that.

April 29, 2023:

Huawei Mate 50 Pro received April 2023 security update with EMUI version 13.0.0.212. The phone continues to provide better software support for global users.

• Joining our hourglass, Huawei wants to close a good month for Huawei Nova 10 series because there is a rollout of the April 2023 security update. It comes with EMUI 12.0.0.179 and a package size of 377 megabytes.

April 28, 2023:

• Huawei P50 Pro began receiving EMUI 12.0.1.296 with a massive 1.59 gigabytes of package size. This update removes the Link Now app, system stability improvements, better security, and more.

April 22, 2023:

• In order to ramp up security, Huawei released April 2023 EMUI patches for the Mate 40 Pro global model.

April 21, 2023:

• The quad camera equipped Huawei Nova 7i installed April 2023 security update with version 12.0.0.282 and an update package size of 244 Mb.

April 15, 2023:

• To surprise us, Huawei sent March 2023 security patch for the Huawei P30 Lite smartphone running the EMUI 12 version.

April 12, 2023:

• Following the system optimizations, Huawei released another software update for the Nova 9 user with March 2023 security patches. The version number for this upgrade is EMUI 12.0.1.282.

April 11, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 10 series received March 2023 EMUI security with build version 12.0.1.178 and it’s released for the global models.

April 9, 2023:

• Huawei Mate 40 Pro grabbed March 2023 software update for better system security.

April 7, 2023:

• Huawei released March 2023 update for Huawei Mate 30 Pro smartphone with EMUI 12.0.0.310 and it mainly fixes security bugs.

April 5, 2023:

• Huawei P40 Pro installed a March 2023 security update with firmware version 12.0.0.315 and a package size of 479 megabytes onboard.

April 4, 2023:

• Huawei released March 2023 security update for the Huawei Mate Xs smartphone in the global market with EMUI 12.0.0.310 software version and 475 megabytes of package size.

April 3, 2023:

• Huawei Nova 9 received EMUI 12.0.1.276 version with display network and app optimizations. Huawei also removed Link Now app from this phone with this rollout.
