Huawei Device CTO urges Mate 60 Pro users to not use satellite calling in flight

Recently, videos and posts about Huawei Mate 60 Pro users demonstrating satellite calling in flight appeared, and Huawei Smart Devices CTO, Bruce Lee urged consumers to refrain from violating aviation rules.

Bruce Lee wrote on Weibo that recently some users have used the satellite calling feature of Huawei Mate 60 Pro and also recorded videos inside the flight, which violates the relevant flight safety and aviation rules. He requested all of the users to abide by the safety regulations and enable flight mode while traveling in an airplane.

Why passengers can’t use phones on a flight?
