Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) Cloud 2021 will start on April 24, may launch HarmonyOS for Cloud business

Every year, Huawei organizes the annual Developer Conference. Through these events, the company brings announcements related to its products including smartphones, enterprise, telecom, cloud, and more.

Today, Huawei’s Executive Director, Cloud, and Computing BG President, and CEO, Richard Yu has confirmed that the date of this year’s Cloud Business Group’s Developer Conference, allowing us to anticipate upcoming revealing.

Huawei Developer Conference 2021 (Cloud) (HDC 2021) will be held in China between April 24 to April 26, 2021. Throughout this time, Huawei will hold different keynotes and training camps.

At HDC 2019, Huawei first time introduced its self-developed kernel-based operating system, HarmonyOS AKA Hongemeng OS with distributed capabilities. Moving on, the next version HarmonyOS 2.0 came at HDC 2020. At this event, it’s expected that the Chinese tech giant may open HarmonyOS for the Cloud business and use it to generate better business scenarios.

In this line, it is expected that the company will reveal the latest edition of its own OS, HarmonyOS with new and upgraded potentials for its consumers.  However, we believe that the company may have some more surprises for enterprises at this year’s Huawei Developer Conference (Cloud).

Aside from this, last month, Huawei has debuted the next-generation folding flagship, Huawei Mate X2. At the launch event, the company discloses that in-coming April the Huawei’s high-end model will be upgraded to HarmonyOS and the Mate X2 will get this major update in the first batch.
