Huawei DevEco Studio 3.1 Release brings new features, enhancements and fixes
Huawei DevEco Studio is now rolling out the 3.1 release version for the developers, which is great news as the DevEco studio was under beta for the past 6 months.
According to Huawei, The new version of Device Tool provides independent resource management capabilities. Source code, tools, and chips are decoupled from each other. Developers can freely download source code and tools supported by Device Tool according to their own needs.
Developers can also import devices that are not yet supported by Device Tool through the import button. The tool can be used freely, which greatly enhances the flexibility of the Device Tool.
New features:
Huawei DevEco Studio 3.1 Release adds a new resource manager to flexibly manage device resources, decouple the strong binding relationship between chips, tools, and source code, and support unified import, download, and management of seven different types of resources.
Added SFTP local debugging capability, synchronizing remote source code, synchronizing the code or files to be debugged in the remote environment to the local environment for debugging, releasing remote environment resources, and improving debugging efficiency; it also supports local environment and remote environment Synchronization of modified content of the same file.
The remote hdc capability is added to connect the Linux environment, Windows environment, and development equipment to realize convenient interaction between the remote Linux environment and the equipment and reduce the file inconsistency caused by the two transmissions.
Enhanced Features:
Support OpenHarmony 3.2 Beta5, adapt to Hi3861/Hi3516/RK3568 compile and burn function. Adapt live watch to OpenHarmony device development scenarios, and support live watch variable monitoring capabilities under Windows and Linux. Tool log enhancements, adding log information on critical paths, quickly locating problems through logs, and enhancing tool stability.
Issues fixed:
Fixed the problem that when installing Python, it was prompted that the verification on the Huawei repo failed and the installation could not be successful. Fixed the problem that selecting the OpenHarmony source code directory when importing a project would result in failure to click OK to import the project normally.
