Huawei denies rumors of rejecting Foxconn OEM request
Today, in an official response, Huawei denied rumors surrounding the company and Foxconn about an OEM request and called them fake and baseless.
While sharing its reaction to this matter, Huawei wrote on Weibo that the current rumors about Huawei rejecting Foxconn’s OEM request are baseless and purely a rumor. Such rumors have no basis and just making trouble out of nothing.
Over the past week, there have been rumors through online articles and blog posts saying that Huawei and Foxconn aren’t working together on new devices or on assembling new projects. Huawei called on people to not believe such rumors and to report such posts as misinformation.
Huawei Foxconn:
Reports from the past month suggest that Foxconn is recruiting new workers to assemble new Huawei smartphones. The company is paying these employees more than what it is paying for Apple devices.
Foxconn is also expanding its employee portfolio to meet the current demand for assembling new devices on time. Therefore, it exceeds the price of hourly wages. It’s mentioned that the hourly worker’s wage in September was 26 yuan. Aside from these, Foxconn’s smartphone camera assembly section has seen the highest growth in hourly wages since the launch of new smartphones.
Huawei and Foxconn have been working together for a long time and rejecting such rumors about their OEM partnership is the right thing to stop misinformation about the brands.

The demand for new Huawei flagship devices is running all-time high and the company is saying that it is working more to ensure order delivery. Meanwhile, some online bloggers are saying that Huawei’s supply chain is facing issues and can’t gather resources to assemble new phones via Foxconn. These rumors aren’t verified by Huawei.
On the other hand, Apple is also rushing to produce a new iPhone 15 series. So, Foxconn has a lot to do simultaneously to achieve more unit output for both of these giant phone makers. Subsequently creating production delays.
