Huawei could unveil Maimang 30 smartphone next month

Huawei seems to have interesting offerings for the next month and one of them could be the Maimang 30 smartphone. The Chinese tech giant will likely unveil not four but a total of six products in July 2024. Let check’s the new add-ons in this list.

Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan implies that Huawei may launch Maimang 30 in July. The key specifications and features of the new smartphone are currently unknown. Yet the information suggests that it could be a 5G-capable device.

The Maimang lineup now specifically belongs to China Telecom and falls under Huawei smart selection products. The latter started selling the device years back. But following the U.S. sanctions, the firm transferred the respective line to China Telecom.

Thus, it’s now a third-party device supported by Huawei services. After the Maimang 20 5G launched last year, the company now might upgrade this line with a new addition.

Maimang 20 sports a dual-camera ring structure with a 64MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It runs on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 5G chip and a 5000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. In terms of looks, it resembles the P50 series.

It would be worth seeing what major changes Maimang 30 will bring to the table.

Apart from the new handset, the company also seems to have a portable speaker named Sound Joy 2. After a break of two years, the tech giant might plan to upgrade its compact audio device with the latest features and some significant capabilities.

Huawei Sound Joy stepped on the consumer platform in March 2022. Co-engineered by Devialet, the device brings a 3D fabric covering and offers Devialet-based sound effects, clear and immersive audio, as well, as long-lasting battery life.

It comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system out of the box as well as has a huge 8800mAh battery with 40W charging support.
