Huawei Kirin 8 series end

News regarding Huawei suggests that the company could stop upgrading the mid-range Kirin 8 series chips, marking an end to it. Kirin 8000 for the Nova 12 Pro could be the last processor belonging to this line and there might not be any new addition.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus says that the Kirin 8000 could be the last generation of the mid-range 8 series processor, and Huawei could hereafter end its journey.

Detailing the leak, the @summaryman says that the Chinese phone maker will now only focus on upgrading the Kirin 9000 series rather than 8 series chipsets. This further points out that all the Nova 13 models will run on the Kirin 9 processors.

Many netizens agreed with the input and said that Huawei should use the Kirin 8 series chip only for the Enjoy and SE models. It would be a perfect implementation over the Snapdragon 680 which has been a long support to these handsets.
