Huawei confirms Mate XT tri-fold display supports 90Hz refresh rate
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design has caught attention for its amazing and significant screen. But most of the display parameters were missing during its launch. Now the company has officially confirmed the refresh rate of the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold.
The official Huawei Mall customer service confirms that the Huawei Mate XT display supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It further says that users can easily view or adjust the screen refresh rate in Settings > Display and Brightness > Screen Refresh Rate.
Refresh Rate of a device is the number of times a screen draws a new image per second. It is an important factor that suggests how smoothly the screen works.
It leads to smoother images while playing speedy games or watching high-speed videos. A good refresh rate ranges between 60 to 240Hz. For instance, 60 to 95Hz is better for a normal gaming lover while it requires 240Hz for a Pro player.
Huawei has mostly adopted a 120Hz refresh rate display for its regular as well as foldable phones. Although the Mate XT screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.
While the entire display section of the Mate XT is worth praising, its refresh rate might seem a drawback to some users. The triple-foldable can adjust the refresh rate from 1-90Hz. Don’t worry as the device will still result in smoother pictures over 60Hz.
Compared to the 60Hz refresh rate, the 90Hz option is far better. On the other hand, it doesn’t show much difference than the 120Hz. Thus, the Mate XT tri-fold phone holders will still experience a better and smoother viewing experience.
Huawei Mate XT bears three screens. All the display panels are made up of OLED LTPO material. They also support a 3K ultra-high resolution, 92% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio, and 16:11 golden screen ratio.
Other aspects are 1.07 billion colors, P3 wide color gamut, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 240Hz touch response, and 10 touch points multi-touch.
