Huawei confirms MAEXTRO S800 for November 26 launch event

Huawei has confirmed one more product for the November 26 launch event and this time, it’s a car – MAEXTRO S800. The company announced that the new sedan will debut at the Mate 70 series press conference next week with an iconic look.

The tech giant has teased the Huawei-JAC jointly built MAEXTRO S800 car on its Weibo page. It reveals the luxurious look of the branding on the car’s back. Huawei further wrote a caption, calling users to witness the ultimate sedan:

“See the times and take in the stars. On November 26 at 14:30, Huawei Mate brand ceremony, HarmonyOS Smart #MaextroS800# will be launched!”

S800 is the first sedan car model under the MAEXTRO brand. Huawei and JAC have been working on this brand since last year with tech-pack smart car solutions.

Now the MAEXTRO S800 is all set to debut on the platform. It will surely impress consumers with its high-end features, smart car solutions, and stunning looks.

During an event, the Chairman of Huawei Smart Automotive Solutions Business Group – Richard Yu said that the car will launch in Q1 2025 while completing the trial production by late 2024. Perhaps, the company could show the first look of this car at the Mate 70 launch event while making it available for sale next year.

MAEXTRO is the fourth brand of Huawei under the HIMA ecosystem. The new S800 aims to compete with luxurious models like the BMW-7 series, Audi A8, Nio ET9, and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the automobile market.

In a recent video footage, Richard mentioned that the new car is the largest in terms of size. It is 5.5 meters in length and can outshine 99.99% of the cars on the road.
