Huawei confirms Leica camera partnership end
Today, Huawei has (via AndroidAuthority) confirmed that the strategic partnership with Leica ended on March 31. This is quite a confirmation that we’ve been waiting for and we’re interested to see what the next camera phone from Huawei will bring for the consumers.
Earlier this day, Xiaomi officially confirmed the kick-off of the strategic partnership with Leica. The well-known camera imaginary enhancing technology company is based in Germany.
Currently, Xiaomi has not confirmed the first device that will feature Leica powered camera system but it’s expected that Xiaomi 12 could be the first one to bring it to the Xiaomi consumers.
Huawei and Leica
Huawei and Leica ran long hand in hand and the journey of these two partners started with the launch of the Huawei P9 in 2016. The match was later followed by the Mate 9 lineup and the consequential models from top Huawei flagships.
Throughout the year of partnership, Huawei and Leica have cobranded launched many phones and enhanced the photography quality for the smartphone users. Huawei P50 series is the last piece of the flagship that launched with Leica-powered camera technologies.
Mate 50:
Aside from these, we’re surprisingly waiting for the next Huawei flagship – The mate 50 series that could launch somewhere in July this year. Although, Huawei has not confirmed any such launch but we can expect more camera tech from the Chinese tech maker.
